Beginner Level - Traditional Oil Painting
This class is composed of 6 - two hour sessions. You will learn the basic approaches, techniques and methods of traditional oil painting. The classes will guide you through a process to paint a still life from start to finish that is easy for anyone to manage.

You'll learn about essential materials, supplies and mediums you will need. We'll cover topics such as prepping your canvas, learning the traditional oil painting layers starting with an underdrawing. You will learn how to bring an oil painting through the stages from lean to fat layers to completion.

Introduction to Mosaics
A beginner's mosaic workshop is a perfect way to learn the art of creating beautiful and colourful designs using small pieces of glass, stone or tile. In this workshop, you will learn the basics of mosaics covering topics such as materials and tools, design and layout along with cutting and shaping techniques. We'll start with a simple mosaic piece. By the end of the workshop, you'll have a unique and personalized work of mosaic art to take home and proudly display.

Beginner Level - Alla Prima Workshop
In this course, you will learn how to paint "Alla Prima" (Wet on Wet). Also known as direct painting or wet-into-wet. Alla Prima, which is an Italian phrase, translates roughly into "all at once".
If you're new to the world of oil painting, then attending the Beginner's Alla Prima workshop is an excellent way to get started. You will learn the fundamentals of Alla Prima painting. We'll start by learning the basics of color mixing, brushwork and composition. Then you'll dive into your first painting by working on a simple still life.

By the end of the workshop, you'll have completed a painting to take home. The Alla Prima Oil painting workshop is a fun and rewarding way to explore this timeless art form.

Art Journaling with Oracle Cards Workshop
Creating art using oracle cards is a unique and intuitive way to tap into your creativity and a way to express yourself through different mediums.
Oracle cards are designed to provide guidance and inspiration and can be used in a variety of ways to spark your imagination and open up new creative possibilities.
We will choose a card at random and use its imagery or message as a starting point for our artwork, or you can use a series of cards to create a themed piece or series. The process of working with oracles cards is highly personal and can be adapted to suit your own artistic style and preferences.
Some people prefer to work with paints or pastels, while others may choose to use collage or mixed media techniques. Regardless of the medium you choose, creating art using oracle cards is a powerful and rewarding way to connect with your inner self and express your unique vision and creativity.

Mold Making and Casting Classes
An introduction to beginner's basic techniques essential for successful moldmaking. This workshop is for people who want to make their own molds for a single new creation or reproductions.
​
You'll learn how to create a simple silicone mold and cast using either Densite or casting resin. You'll create both a single pour mold and a two part mold and learn how to create jigs to support your molds and castings.
