INTRO TO ALLA PRIMA WORKSHOP

ART CLASS DESCRIPTION

Alla Prima is an Italian phrase that means "at first attempt". It refers to a wet-on-wet approach whereby paint is applied to previous layers of still-wet paint in a single sitting. In this workshop, we will learn how to paint in Alla prima and learn how to control & manipulate paint wet on wet. All materials such as brushes, paints, palettes, mediums, smocks, ramekins, easels and clean up supplies will be supplied for this class + 5 hours of instruction.
