ART CLASS DESCRIPTION
Discover your creative potential with our "Intro to Gouache" class! Over four engaging weeks (2 hrs weekly), you will learn to use the vibrant and versatile medium of Gouache paint - a medium used by artists such as David Hockney and Matisse. Suitable for beginners and those looking to refine their skills, this class will cover essential gouache techniques, materials, color mixing, and brushwork. Each session combines hands-on practice with guided instruction, allowing you to create stunning pieces while building confidence in your artistic abilities. You will explore gouache paint's unique properties and be able to create both translucent and opaque surfaces, combining these to make your own responses to contrasting textures. Time Frame for Refunds: - Full Refund: Offered if a registrant cancels at least 1-2 weeks before the class starts. - Partial Refund: Offered for cancellations made within 3 days of the class start date (e.g., 80% refund). - No Refund: For cancellations made after the first class has started. Transfer Policy: - Registrants are permitted to transfer to another session or class if they cannot attend, depending on availability.
