ART CLASS DESCRIPTION
Explore the vibrant world of the delicate medium, watercolor, in our Intro to Watercolor Painting course! This four week class (2 hours once a week) is designed for complete beginners and those with a bit of prior experience, providing a comprehensive foundation in essential skills and techniques. Over the duration of the sessions, you will learn crucial aspects such as mixing, layering, washes, and palette management, ensuring you have a solid grasp of watercolor applications. We will cover materials, including brushes, paper, paints, and masking fluid, to equip you with the knowledge needed for successful painting. Different subjects, such as landscapes and still life, will be explored through hands-on exercises. You can expect informative demonstrations and discussions to help you approach projects with confidence. Additionally, you will gain a deeper understanding of color theory, color mixing, and brush techniques, enabling you to manipulate watercolor creatively. Join us to unleash your creativity and discover the joy of watercolor painting! CREATIVE MENTOR: Jodie Simms Includes: 8 hrs of instruction + all materials are supplied. Cancellation Policy
Time Frame for Refunds: - Full Refund: Offered if a registrant cancels at least 1-2 weeks before the class starts. - Partial Refund: Offered for cancellations made within 3 days of the class start date (e.g., 80% refund). - No Refund: For cancellations made after the first class has started. Transfer Policy: - Registrants are permitted to transfer to another session or class if they cannot attend, depending on availability.
