ART CLASS DESCRIPTION
Join us for an immersive 3.5 to 4-hour workshop designed for artists of all skill levels who wish to enhance their portrait painting techniques. This session focuses on the essential elements of structure, shape, tonal values, color and form as we explore the intricate details of painting eyes and mouths using oil paints. Throughout the workshop, you will: - Learn the Basics: Understand the fundamental anatomy and proportions of the eyes and mouth to create realistic portrait features. - Explore Techniques: Utilize into various oil painting techniques that emphasize texture, shadow, and color blending to bring these facial features to life. - Hands-On Practice: Engage in guided exercises and apply your new skills in creating studies of eyes and mouths, with personalized feedback to help you refine your approach. If you are looking to improve your existing skills, this workshop is a perfect opportunity to deepen your understanding and elevate your artistry for Portraits. All materials will be provided, so just bring your creative spirit! All materials will be supplied. This workshop will be hosted by Creative Mentor: Karen Furneaux Please Note: Art Start requires at least 3 registrants to proceed with a class/workshop or studio session. Cancellation Policy
Time Frame for Refunds: - Full Refund: Offered if a registrant cancels at least 1-2 weeks before the class starts. - Partial Refund: Offered for cancellations made within 3 days of the class start date (e.g., 80% refund). - No Refund: For cancellations made after the first class has started. Transfer Policy: - Registrants are permitted to transfer to another session or class if they cannot attend, depending on availability.
