ART CLASS DESCRIPTION
This workshop provides a friendly, experiential introduction to color mixing. You’ll learn to navigate the color wheel, control paint values (tints, shades, and beyond), and develop a confident approach to color in both oil and acrylic, s well as gouache. Topics include foundational pigment manipulation to avoid muddy or flat colors, understanding primary, secondary, and tertiary colors, and exploring complementary relationships, value, opacity, and semi-transparency. Through hands-on color-mixing exercises, you’ll build practical skills and a stronger color sense that you can apply across media. Suitable for: Absolute-beginners, Beginners, Improvers, Returners Please Note: Art Start requires at least 3 registrants to proceed with a class/workshop or studio session. If this minimum is not met, you will be notified and offered an alternative time slot or full refund, whichever you prefer. Cancellation Policy
Time Frame for Refunds: - Full Refund: Offered if a registrant cancels at least 1-2 weeks before the class starts. - Partial Refund: Offered for cancellations made within 3 days of the class start date (e.g., 80% refund). - No Refund: For cancellations made after the first class has started. Transfer Policy: - Registrants are permitted to transfer to another session or class if they cannot attend, depending on availability.
