INTRO TO PORTRAITURE - OIL
A 2-Hour Weekly Session for 6 Weeks
ART CLASS DESCRIPTION
Join us for this 2-hour class, once a week for 6 weeks at ART START. In this class, students will learn fundamentals of portrait painting, from selecting a good reference photo to getting the image onto to canvas and then capturing likeness with correct proportions. We'll dive into the approach for creating a portrait that captures the essence of the reference image. Through demonstrations and hands-on practice, students will be introduced to mixing skin tones, capturing facial expressions, and details. Ideal for beginners and those refining their skills, this class encourages creativity and self-expression. A reference photo will provided or a photo of you for a self portrait can be taken as a reference image for your painting. Includes: 10 hrs of guidance + all materials are supplied. Cancellation Policy
Time Frame for Refunds: - Full Refund: Offered if a registrant cancels at least 1-2 weeks before the class starts. - Partial Refund: Offered for cancellations made within 3 days of the class start date (e.g., 80% refund). - No Refund: For cancellations made after the first class has started. Transfer Policy: - Registrants are permitted to transfer to another session or class if they cannot attend, depending on availability.
